Add price-based rates
Before you add price-based rates:
Rates are linked to zones. You can have as many price-based rates as you like. DingDoong will show the rate your customer is eligible for at checkout.
Some steps to add price-base rates for a zone:
Step 1: Set conditions
Click on "Add rate by price", set rate limits (min & max order price) and adjust the rate
*Note:
Default value when you haven't picked any values
Min value=0
Max value=Unlimited
You can enter or click the increase/ decrease button to adjust your desired value. Valid decimal is with "," or "."
Set the rate to 0 if you want to offer free delivery for the zip codes in this zone
Step 2: Give your rate a name
Make it formal and recognizable enough as the name will appear on the checkout page along with the charges
Example: Order value less than $50
Step 3: Give your rate a description
Make it formal and recognizable enough as the description will appear on the checkout page along with the name
Use it to send any messages to your customers.
For example, to encourage them to spend more for the order, you might give the rate a description like: "For all orders over $50 we will deliver your order for free" or to notice your customers of the estimated delivery time, you might say: "Expected delivery is on 25 May" or to confirm your customer chosen delivery date/time like: " Arriving on your chosen date between 9am-1pm. Perfect for residential addresses"
Step 4: Click "Add rate"
