Custom CSS is used for adding some custom fields or themes for the date & time picker display at your storefront, apart from the certain changes supported by DingDoong.
DingDoong are so regretful to inform that the case is currently not supported by our app, hence the date&time picker would be hidden on the cart page until buyers pick the products activated by the same rules.
We do this to minimize merchant losses if they are unable to meet the conflicting requests in the event that buyers pick either delivery or pickup method.
Other scenarios should be taken into consideration:
Customers add product A, product B in the same cart. Product A is enabled by Delivery rules, Product B has no rules applied on it. DingDoong would display Delivery date & time at the storefront on the cart page for customers to pick.
Customers add product A, product B in the same cart. Product A is enabled by Store Pickup rules, Product B has no rules applied on it. DingDoong wouldn't display any methods for customers to pick.
DingDoong allows merchants to customize their timezone in the onboarding section or the Dashboardtab.
All the calendars shown at your storefront & date-time in the app will adhere to this timezone.
It's entirely up to you
If you want to activate the rule, put a tick in the box "Require the delivery date before checkout" in the tab to set it up.
You may keep track of your delivery/store pickup orders on theOrder Report tab.
You may examine the orders in greater detail in the list format, including the order number, delivery/pickup date, delivery/pickup time, buyer's name, and the order status.
You may examine the orders in the calendar format to get an overview. Both display formats are suggested for a complete order capture.
Split order are currently not supported in the May 2022 version.
